Edvard Grieg composed one of his most important masterpieces at age 25: the Piano Concerto in a minor. It’s rather fitting, since the composer’s primary instrument was the piano, and he even intended to premiere the piano concerto as composer and pianist. It’s our Evening Masterwork tonight at 7 on Classical WSMR 89.1 and 103.9.
