It's nice to think that music has no boundaries - but that hasn't always been the case. Classical music has been known in its past to be less than welcoming to some. Over the years, that has slowly changed. And it's wonderful to be able to listen to music from great talents like William Grant Still, Florence Price, Wynton Marsalis and others here on WSMR and in concert halls everywhere. MLK Day is coming up this Monday, Jan. 19, and WSMR will turn its focus to feature the music of these gifted composers and musicians.
