The Rebecca Penneys Piano Festival returns to Florida’s Classical Music Station in July!

Listen for two live performances on Classical WSMR as we present students who come to Tampa from all over the world to participate in what International Piano Magazine described as “one of this summer’s top crop of international music festivals.”

Hear for yourself with our live performances on the radio on Tuesday, July 23rd at 1 pm, and Thursday, August 1st at 11 am.

The 7th annual Rebecca Penneys Piano Festival is at USF in Tampa again this year.  This festival is unique in the world of piano instruction. A multi-generation international and renowned faculty teaches technique and musicianship in a traditional and innovative context while embracing creative and holistic concepts in learning, health, and human potential. Plus it’s a tuition-free festival!  Students get to play new Steinway pianos at the USF School of Music in Tampa, and everyone has the luxury of a dazzling array of daily lessons, classes and performance opportunities. Most participants have a semester’s worth of lessons in just three weeks.  You can learn more about the festival here:
