The Florida Orchestra

The orchestra is presenting the U.S. premiere of Thierry Caens' "Tribones," a concerto for three trombones that TFO co-commissioned with the French Orchestre national du Capitole de Toulouse.

USF School of Music director David Williams said this is the second year USF's CDAP is doing the festival. And they're hoping to have a big turnout.

Sydney Bridges is a WSMR Garth Family intern and a senior at USF, majoring in Jazz Performance. She interviewed her music teacher Lloyd Goldstein — who spent 18 years as artist-in—residence at Moffitt Cancer Center.

The Florida Orchestra's music director and resident conductor will serve as "artists-in-residence" this season at the University of South Florida's School of Music.
